During centers, we learned how to sound out simple words, continued work on handwriting, worked in our math journals, and listened to If You Take a Mouse to School at the listening center.
After morning recess, we did fine motor activities. The kids really enjoyed them! After lunch we read and talked about A House For Hermit Crab. In math we practiced writing the number 3.
After spending time with Mr. Sutton in music, our 4th grade buddies from Mrs. Melaney's class came for a visit. The 4th graders brought a variety of picture books to share with kindergarten. It was a lot of fun. We will meet regularly with Mrs. Melaney's class throughout the year.
FUNd RUN
Please remember that the FUNd RUN is this Friday. Please have your child bring a water bottle! If you have not returned your FUNd RUN materials yet, please do so byFriday.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Next week are Parent-Teacher conferences. I will send a note home on Wednesday with your scheduled time. If that time doesn't work, please let me know.
