FUNd Run on Friday

The much anticipated FUNd Run is scheduled for this Friday.  Our class will run from 9:10-10:00.  Parents are welcome to come and cheer their runner on!  This is a really important event for our PTO.  The money raised will be used to fund classroom grants and buses for field trips.  If you haven't returned your FUNd Run envelope yet, please do so on Friday.

Parent teacher conferences are next week.  I'm looking forward to sitting down with everyone and talking about your wonderful children!  I will send each family an email with their conference time and then will send a paper home with the time on it on Friday.  If you aren't able to make your scheduled conference time, please contact me or the front office and reschedule. 

I know there has been a lot of confusion regarding Lexia and MyOn.  I'm sorry to say the paper I sent home did not accurately explain how to access the programs.  To access Lexia Core 5 and MyOn, you must go to ceran.svvsd.org.  From there, click on Elementary Schools right under the cartoon man at the top.  On the right side you will see buttons for Lexia Core 5 and MyOn.  Click there and log in.  Do not download the app.  The district put security measures in place that will prevent it from working.  If using a tablet, you may need to download Flash for the website to work correctly.  Let me know if you have trouble.
